Privacy Policy

Effective date:

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Meliora Interactive LLC (“Meliora Interactive,” “we,” “us” or “our”) is a limited liability company organized in New York State that makes video games and apps. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when you visit meliorainteractive.com (the “Website”) or communicate with us, including by email.

This policy covers Website visits and communications with us. It does not describe information collected within our games and apps. For those practices, please refer to the privacy notice provided for the relevant product. This policy still applies when you visit the Website or email us about a product.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

The Website does not have contact forms, newsletter signup forms or checkout pages. Contact links open your own email application. Opening a contact link does not itself send a message to us.

When you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you provide it, and the contents of your message and attachments. This may include information you choose to provide about a support request, such as a product name, device details, screenshots or a description of a problem.

Please do not send passwords, complete payment-card details or other sensitive information that is not needed for your request.

Email delivery and storage

We use Cloudflare Email Routing to forward messages sent to contact@meliorainteractive.com to a Gmail mailbox that we manage. Cloudflare processes information needed to route and deliver those messages. Google receives and stores the forwarded emails, including sender and recipient details, message content and attachments. These providers also process information to operate and protect their services, including spam and abuse prevention, under their applicable terms and privacy policies.

Website technical information

We use Cloudflare to host and deliver the Website, manage its domain-name services (DNS), and provide enabled network-security features. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website. This can include IP addresses, browser and request details, timestamps, and traffic and security information. This processing supports content delivery, reliability, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

3. Website features, cookies and tracking

We do not use Cloudflare Web Analytics or other browser-based visitor analytics tools on the Website. Cloudflare still processes technical information to host and protect the Website, as described above.

Our own Website scripts do not set cookies, use browser local storage, create tracking identifiers, or run analytics or advertising trackers. The fonts and other page assets we include are served from our Website address. We do not embed third-party advertising, social-media widgets, video players, maps or frames.

Interface features run locally in your browser. The “Copy email” button copies our public contact email address to your clipboard when you select it; it does not read your existing clipboard contents. Our Website scripts do not send information from these interface features to us or to analytics services.

Cloudflare security features, if enabled for the Website, may use security cookies to distinguish human visitors from automated traffic or remember that a security challenge has been passed. These are separate from advertising trackers. Details about these features are available in Cloudflare’s cookie documentation.

We do not track your activities across third-party websites or allow advertising partners to do so through the Website. Our Website practices do not change in response to a browser’s Do Not Track signal because we do not engage in that cross-site tracking.

4. How we use information

We use information covered by this policy to:

5. How we share information

We do not sell personal information collected under this policy or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, meaning advertising based on your activity across different businesses’ websites or services.

We disclose information in the following circumstances:

More information about our hosting and communications providers is available in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy.

6. How long we keep information

We retain communications and related records only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. Relevant factors include whether your request has been resolved, whether follow-up support is needed, applicable recordkeeping obligations, and any unresolved dispute or legal claim.

Retention of technical logs depends on the provider, the services and settings in use, security and operational needs, and applicable legal requirements. For information a provider processes under its own responsibility, its applicable retention practices also apply; see the provider privacy notices linked above.

When information under our control is no longer needed, we delete it or direct providers processing it on our behalf to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements. If copies remain in routine backups, they are removed through the applicable backup deletion or overwrite cycle and are not used for unrelated purposes.

7. Children and teenagers

The Website is a general-audience studio website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through it. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us using the email address below. If we learn that we collected a child’s personal information in violation of applicable law, we will delete it or take other steps required by that law.

Where the New York Child Data Protection Act or another applicable law provides additional protections for users under 18, we limit processing to purposes permitted without consent or obtain the separate consent the law requires. Agreeing to our Terms of Service does not replace any required privacy consent.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

You choose what information to include in your communications. If you do not provide information needed to answer a request, we may be unable to resolve it.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to:

To make a request, email contact@meliorainteractive.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity or an authorized representative’s authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable law and explain any applicable limitation or exception. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.

9. Links to other services

The Website may contain links to app stores or other websites operated by third parties. When you follow those links, their privacy notices apply to information they collect. This policy describes Meliora Interactive’s practices and does not replace those third parties’ notices.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. This statement does not limit our obligations under applicable data-security or breach-notification laws.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version here and update the effective date. For material changes, we will provide appropriate notice, such as a prominent Website notice or a direct communication where appropriate.

We will provide advance notice and obtain consent where required before using previously collected personal information for a materially different purpose. Posting a revised policy does not, by itself, provide consent for a use that requires it.
